LIFTING SURFACE WATERS ALONG A SLOPE OR A CLIFF

Lifting surface water (stream, river, pond, tanks ...) up to 110 meters of elevation providing an outlet pressure of at least 3 bars.
In this configuration, the surface pump pumps the surface water directly.

The surface pump pumps water from a tank and provides a pressure of 15 bars.
A reverse osmoser can be connected to the surface pump in order to desalinate brackish water (up to 7.5g of salt per liter of water).

SIMPLE AND MULTI-FUNCTIONAL

Pumpilo is very light : less than 12 kg.
Installation in less than one hour.
It starts as soon as the solar panel is connected, even on cloudy days.
It is mainly mechanical with very little electronics.

EASY INSTALLATION
Pumpilo is composed of 4 independent and light modular elements that allow a quick installation.

Modular elements can be carried on your back on an isolated site.

The pump is self-priming and starts from 20 Watts supplied by the solar panel.

LOW ENERGY
NEED

Pumpilo works with only a 1 sqm solar panel, the pump starts with only 20 Watts supplied by the panel (power supply in cloudy weather).

WITHOUT BATTERY
Pumpilo works without a battery : unlike most rotary pumps, Pumpilo starts pumping from 20 Watts supplied by the solar panel, thanks to its piston system.

LIMPID WATER
The mechanical piston system of the downhole pump does not stir water, unlike rotary pumps. There is therefore no mixing of any sediment at the bottom of the well, and the pumped water is crystal clear!

LOW FLOW
Pumpilo allows a sustainable exploitation of the water resources thanks to its low flow rate (170 L/h at 350 L/h depending on the diameter of the downhole pump).

Thanks to its mechanical piston system, Pumpilo requires very little energy to operate and allows the exploitation of groundwater up to 110 meters head.

The downhole pump supplies at least 3 bars at the outlet (from 3 bars to 15 bars depending on the head).

DRY-RUNNING CAPABILITIES
Downhole pump can run empty without wear or degradation of the system.

SECURABLE EQUIPMENT
The solar panel and the surface pump can be installed in a secure place up to 2km from the borehole or well, whether for risk of robery or for discretion.

A MUCH GREATER WORKING RANGE THAN ITS COMPETITORS

Most pumps on the market have a starting threshold well above 20 Watts.
These pumps therefore require several m2 of solar panels to guarantee pumping during the low sunshine seasons.

Pumpilo works with only 1 sqm of solar panel and starts from the first 20 Watts supplied.
Over 12 months, the total volume of water supplied by Pumpilo is much higher!

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

TECHNOLOGY
Pumpilo is a piston pump: the surface pump actuates a piston that reciprocates back and forth to water via a PERT-ALU-PERT pipe connected to the downhole pump.
Water being incompressible, causes this movement back and forth to actuate a second piston in the downhole pump. This piston then makes it possible to suck up the underground water and to expel it thanks to a valve system.

TYPE OF PUMP
Downhole pump : Piston pump. The downhole pumps' piston is activated by the surface pump via a standard multilayer pipe (PERT-AL-PERT) that has a diameter of 16mm.
Surface pump : Dual Function Piston Pump :
For pumping over 6 meters head : the piston system of the surface pump is used to actuate the the downhole pumps' piston.
For pumping below 6 meters head : the surface pump pumps directly from surface/tank water and delivers a pressure of 15 bars.

THE TEAM

I learned from my father, who has been a well-known geophysicist, that there are thousands of small-diameter drill holes to check the subsoil around the mines. Since they are mostly filled with water at about 30 meters deep and no pump could fit in, he suggested I think about it.
